Voynich Manuscript scans

The Voynich Manuscript is possibly what inspired Luigi Serafini to create the Codex, as it seems to cover similar themes.

A Flickr user has now uploaded incredibly hi-res scans of the book which are well worth a browse for their peculiar imagery.

Seraphinianus Gallery

I've uploaded some full page images from the first three sections of the Codex Seraphinianus here - I'll try and get back to adding more descriptions into my main Codex pages and upload some more pictures from the other sections.

Wrote a little in the Machinery section

I've added some info to the Machinery section, to be elaborated more on later.

Codex solved?

I recieved an email this morning from "CO Jones" who believes he's cracked the mystery of the Codex. I haven't had a proper chance to read through it yet, but he provides a tool that can translate text in the Latin alphabet into the Codex script, but as yet there's no way to translate the text of the Codex back into a recognisable language.

Read more about it here.

Padded out flora, and started on Physics

Today I padded out the flora section, and made a start on physics

More updates

Added more to the Fauna section, started on the Peda section, and added illustrations to all the other sections.

Updates

Added contents image to the Structure page

A Study of the Codex Seraphinianus

For quite a while now, the Codex Seraphinianus section of the site has basically just been a placeholder, waiting for me to get around to actually start writing something there.

Well, I'm pleased to announce that I've finally started! There isn't much there right now (most pages are blank), but I'll keep adding to it whenever I've got time!
